Leadership
Leadership is one of the skills IFC develops and defines better than any other organization on or off campus. IFC and all our IFC Fraternities create and mold new leaders every year due to our unique dynamic. Next to the actual University itself nobody else on campus ahs the amount and diversity of responsibilities and no other campus organization has as many leadership opportunities as IFC. That is because IFC and our IFC Fraternities must operate in a manner similar to efficient high gain corporations. From overseeing yearly budgets and assets in the 6 figure and higher range, planning and holding campus and community wide events and programs, making long and short term goal strategies for chapter operations, social networking for growth and gain, understanding and working with International policies and guidelines, constant analysis and adjustment of macro and micro management protocol, to just making sure everyone is happy IFC builds the best leaders through real-world experience. Effective, proven, dynamic, visionary, charismatic, and defining excellence are some of the terms and phrases that best describe IFC leaders. It isn't a coincidence that Fraternity men are at the heads of nearly every Fortune 500 company or why almost every high ranking politician and government official is a member of a Fraternity. The leadership quality IFC develops and matures in our members translates into success during and after college for our IFC men. IFC believes that every college man who attends NC State is full of unbounded potential. IFC makes that potential realized and turned into tangible success and maturity. The Interfraternity Council builds and develops prototype leaders because what we are stewards of doesn't allow us to harbor mediocrity.
